New Hope’s properties are home to adults who live alone on limited incomes. Each person leases an efficiency apartment – an idealized college dorm room – in a property with lovely community spaces. This type of housing is often termed single room occupancy (SRO).

Our properties are well-run efficiency apartment homes, each with a private tiled bath, microwave, and refrigerator. Residents have access to the attractive communal living areas, including kitchens, coin-operated washers/dryers, libraries, television/dining lounges, and beautiful outdoor spaces. All properties provide fully monitored, 24/7 front desk coverage to enhance the health and safety of residents. Whenever practical, we hire from the resident population.
