I am living alone on a limited income. Do I qualify to live in one of New Hope’s properties?
Yes. New Hope’s properties are designed specifically for you. Please email info@newhopehousing.com for more information about applying to lease an efficiency apartment or telephone 713-671-2424.

What is included in the rental rate?
The rent includes free utilities and no cost cable television.

Does New Hope subsidize rent?
No, we do not; however, we welcome residents who have housing vouchers.

Can I have overnight visitors in my apartment?
Yes. There is an overnight guest policy, including a small guest fee. The policy will be explained to you when you apply.

Will I be able to cook in my apartment?
Of course. Your fully furnished efficiency includes a microwave and a refrigerator, with stoves available in the community kitchen.

Does New Hope allow pets?
Service animals are welcome.

Does New Hope operate a shelter or a drug treatment program?
No, we do not.

Does New Hope offer on-site social services?
Our resident services include a robust life skills program and regularly scheduled AA, CA and NA meetings. We also offer information and referral to area social service agencies.

Does New Hope offer housing for couples or families?
Not at this time.
