I live alone on a limited income. Do I qualify to live in a New Hope Housing property?

What’s the average rent, and what does it include?
The rental rates are between $455 and $701 per month, which includes free utilities and cable TV access, and support services. Call the property for more details.
Does New Hope Housing help me pay the rent?
No, we do not subsidize rent. However, we welcome residents with housing vouchers or subsidies from social service agencies or other sources.
Can I have overnight visitors in my apartment?
Yes. There is an overnight guest policy, including a small fee. The policy will be explained to you when you apply.
Can I cook in my apartment?
Yes. Your fully furnished efficiency room includes a microwave and a refrigerator. Most properties feature full-size stoves that are available in the community kitchen, which is open 24/7.
Does New Hope Housing allow pets?
We accept assistance animals only.
Does New Hope Housing operate a shelter or a drug treatment program?
No. We do not provide specialized care services.
Does New Hope Housing offer on-site supportive services?
Each site offers a range of supportive services. We offer a life skills program; AA, CA and NA meetings; and information and referral to area social service agencies. A case manager is on site to help coordinate services.
Does New Hope Housing offer housing for couples or families?
Not at this time. But our new property under development on Reed Road will accommodate families.
I do not have a vehicle. Are your properties easily accessible to transit?
All of our properties are easily accessible to public transportation. We do have free parking available at most of our properties (excluding downtown locations).
